Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is ongoing! Contact us for a tour or more information.

It is the policy of Cardinal Hickey Academy (CHA) that we do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, disability, and/or national ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, tuition assistance, and any other school administration programs.

All new students are accepted on a probationary basis for one year. The purpose of this policy is to determine whether CHA can meet the student’s needs and if the student is able to adjust to the unique and challenging environment of our Catholic school.

We are excited that you are inquiring about having your child attend CHA. If you would like to speak to someone about the admission process please call the front office at 410-286-0404.

To experience CHA on a first-hand basis, prospective students can spend the day visiting academic classes and eating lunch with their peer groups. All students are placed in their current grade.

Student begin at 8:00 in the Office and typically end by 2:30 p.m. Visits are non-evaluative and are an optional piece of the application process. We offer Shadow Days Monday through Thursday throughout the school year.

It is important that we get to know your child and give him or her the opportunity to ask questions regarding our school.

If you are interested in having your child come for a Shadow Day, please contact Denise Motz at 410-286-0404.

Once your child has spent the day with us, we will arrange an assessment for your child if they are not coming from another Archdiocesan School.

A good school provides a rounded education for the whole person. And a good Catholic school, over and above this, should help all of its students to become saints.
